1. Who we are

Be My Canvas is a Centurion tattoo studio run by Sam. Tipsy Ink is an entertainment experience by Be My Canvas using fake or practice skin only.

2. Website

• Content on this website is for information and enquiry purposes.
• Portfolio images are examples of past work. Every tattoo is individual; results vary.
• Permanent tattoo prices are quoted individually and are not final until confirmed by Sam.
• Be My Canvas is a home-based studio and works by appointment. Full directions are shared once a booking is confirmed.

3. Permanent tattoo enquiries

• Sending an enquiry or WhatsApp message is not a confirmed appointment until Sam confirms the date, design direction and any deposit or payment terms with you.
• Please share accurate information about your idea, placement, size and references.
• For permanent tattoos, please be honest about anything that may affect whether a tattoo can safely go ahead, including age and relevant health information we ask about at consultation.
• Deposit, payment and cancellation details for permanent tattoos will be confirmed when your appointment is locked in.

4. Tipsy Ink — what it is (and is not)

Tipsy Ink is entertainment only.

• You work on fake or practice skin only — never on human skin, including your own.
• It is not a tattoo apprenticeship, school, certificate or professional training.
• It is not a Be My Canvas permanent tattoo appointment. Real tattoos are booked separately.
• Guests must be 18 or older because of the drinks context. Valid ID may be requested.
• It can get messy. Wear clothes you do not mind getting ink on.

5. Tipsy Ink bookings, payment and changes

• Public sessions and private bookings are offered as published on the site or confirmed with you directly.
• Prices shown on the site are a guide for the event type; the price for a specific published event is the price shown on that event page.
• We confirm payment details when your date is locked.
• Bookings are non-refundable. If your plans change, you may move your booking to another available Tipsy Ink date, subject to availability and applicable consumer law. Please give us as much notice as you can.
• We may need to change venue or timing for operational reasons. If that happens, we will contact you and offer a move to another available date.

6. Tipsy Ink house rules

By booking or attending Tipsy Ink you agree that:

• All guests in your group are 18+ and can show ID if asked.
• Everyone follows staff guidance on machines, gloves, needles and cleanup.
• Single-use needles and practice skins are used as instructed; staff handle sharps collection.
• Alcohol is enjoyed responsibly; we may refuse participation to anyone who appears unsafe, overly intoxicated or disruptive.
• You take part in an entertainment activity and will follow safety instructions at all times.

7. Hygiene and safety note

Tipsy Ink uses beginner-friendly setups, gloves and single-use needles on practice skins, with staff handling cleanup. It remains an entertainment setting, not a clinical or training environment.

8. Liability

To the extent allowed by South African law:

• We provide Tipsy Ink as a supervised entertainment activity on fake skin.
• You are responsible for following instructions and for your own belongings and clothing.
• Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

9. Privacy

How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Material booking rules for an event already paid for will not be changed unfairly without notice.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. If a dispute arises, South African courts, with a practical focus on Gauteng, will deal with it.
